My husband's friend is visiting from out of state this weekend with her 15-month-old son, and I'd like to buy him a toy or two that he can play with while he's here and then take back home with him. I don't want anything too big so it's inconvenient for them to travel with. What are some ideas for SMALL toys that are appropriate for 15-month-olds? (My own son is only 4 months old, so I don't have a lot of experience with the old age group yet....)

When you buy a toy it has ages on the box most of the time. at toy for his age will have 1+, 1 1/2 +. Most of fisher price toys do. Hope that helped a little maybe even ask what he likes. Good luck

i will be traveling by palne when my daughter is about 6 weeks old it will be a 2 hour flight ....any advice for traveling with a small baby

Be prepared with a pacifier, bottle, or "you" as sucking aleviated the ear pressure issue.
Bring plenty of diapers and a few age appropriate toys that might capture their attention (even for a moment). Practice changing the baby in your lap as you will most likely be doing that on the plane. Bring baggies for used diapers.
Don't stress over rude people. They are paying to travel from point A to point B and not necesarily a quiet ride. =)
