What is the best (and easiest way) to level an above ground pool when your yard is not level?

daddysnurs

I have a 12 ft by 3 foot above ground pool that was on an unlevel part of the yard (where an old garden had been) and I had to drain it as the whole pool was tipping over to the side. I found another part of the yard which is more level, but as I started filling it the water all went to the one end of the pool. The pool water is ankle deep on that end already and not even over my foot on the other end. Is there an easy way to level this out? The yard is grassed underneath the tarp I have the pool setting on and, as a single mother, I don't have the strength to do much physical work. Any simple ideas??

Answer
Add sand. You can but it by the bag at local toy store, home improvement store, or order it from local gravel hauler. Just add the desired amount of sand to the side where the water travels and smooth towards opposite side. It gives ample support to pool bottom without any object that damage the bottom. When the pool it removed just add allittle soil and grass seed .
